Rabbi Dovid Yehuda Zussman (Sofer) shlita, the descendant of the Gaon Rabbi Yeshaya Silberstein ztz"l, Av Beis Din of Veitzen, and author Masei L'Melech, on Maimonides. has been swift and conscientious in carrying out a holy task. Rabbi Yeshaya Silberstein ztz"l was one of the greatest Halachic authorities in the rabbinate and in practical halachah. (He was the soul mate of my ancestor the Gaon Rabbi S. Engel ztz"l of Redomshile*). Tens of thousands of his commentaries on the agada along with stories of his incredibly righteous deeds were spread amongst his disciples and associates who are still alive today (with G-ds mercy). The abovementioned Rabbi shlita has worked hard and toiled to assemble and publish these writings. However, this project is extremely expensive therefore I turn to the holy ones, my brothers, the Jewish people who both respect the Torah and great scholars such as the gaon from Veitzen ztz"l, that they should certainly rush to help and enable the completion of this project by donating willingly and generously. The aforementioned gaon ztz"l will certainly beseech on behalf of all those who donate that they should be blessed with life, children, abundant sustenance and to grow to be glorified. *Note: For two years, during world war one, my grandfather ztz"l lived in Veitzen as a refugee. The rabbi in Veitzen allowed him to arrange a quorum (minyan) to pray according the Chassidic (nusach sfard) version. When my ancestor ztz"l was in Kashau the rabbi told my father ztz"l that three times daily he prays for his welfare. For the first two weeks that my ancestor was in Veitzen Rabbi Silberstein gave up his bedroom for him until he found an apartment for himself. The humble, Elchanan son of Rabbi Dovid Halpern
