Harav Dovid Yehuda Zussman shlita has presented me with the writings of his forefather, the greatest in his generation, Harav Yeshaya Silberstein ztz"l. It is redundant for me to testify about the greatness of Rabbi Yeshaya Silberstein ztz"l, a unique individual among the giants and tzaddikim of his generation, a leader among learned men. It is comparable to bearing witness that the sun shines in the middle a sunny day. He was famous in Hungary and worldwide for his sharp insights, genius, greatness, and piety. I myself heard my Rebbe, Rabbi Shaul Brach of Kashua zy"a say the following: "I once went to visit the Rabbi of Veitzen and you could see the divine presence emanating from his face..." Thus, I join the throng in noting that this is an incredible mitzvah and ask you to give generously. Undoubtedly, the tzaddik in heaven will derive great pleasure and reward from the learning of his sefer (book) and will act as an advocate and defend all those who assisted him in this world. He will surely protect them from both spiritual and physical harm. Written and signed for the sake of the mitzvah, The humbled one Refoel Blum
