I was pleased to hear the good news that this prestigious rabbi of great lineage, Rabbi Dovid Yehuda Zussman (Sofer) shlita, has given of his time to compile and print the Torah of his great ancestor, the tzaddik Rabbi Yeshaya Silberstein ztz"l. Rabbi Dovid Yehuda shlita is the son of my dear friend, the prestigious rabbi and a G-d fearing man, Rabbi Binyamin Ze'ev shlita, who is my right hand man and is constantly involved in holy matters encourages others to do likewise. Their ancestor Rabbi Yeshaya Silberstein ztz"l was a prince of Torah and was famous for his righteousness. He was Av Beis Din of Veitzen, and author Masei L'Melech, on Maimonides. Rabbi Dovid Yehuda shlita has picked Rabbi Yeshaya's roses - his novellae and sayings, from the garden of Torah. These quotations were often found in other books and manuscripts. He has now categorized them according to Shas and Shulchan Oruch. Furthermore, he has adorned the sefer (book) by including Rabbi Yeshaya's life story and other anecdotes to teach later generations of his greatness and unbelievable achievements. I am very grateful to him and wish him much success and my blessing to him is that G-d should send him success and he should be worthy of printing these seforim, seeing the fruits of his labor, and celebrating its completion. It is a great mitzvah to stand behind and support him wholeheartedly by giving generously. I am convinced that the merits of this great tzaddik will protect and support donors who help print this hidden wisdom. They should be showered with all the blessings that are mentioned in the Torah said about the upholders of Torah - physical health, lofty vision, with much pleasure and nachas and many, many joyful occasions, until the final redemption, which should come speedily in our days. Signed in the honor of the Torah, together with my prayers and blessings while awaiting G-d's speedy redemption, Meshulam Fish Segal
